Allen Kreutzkamp speaking at the opening of Tularosa's new library building.
The Tularosa Public Library was established April 17, 2004 at the Tularosa Community Center by Librarian, Randi Northrop. The library opened with just 400 books and now contains over 4,000.
Funding for the new library comes from Kreutzkamp Family Trust, State of New Mexico, Hubbard Foundation, McCune Foundation, and Daniels Fund. The building is dedicated in remembrance of Jose and Lupe Bernal, ancestors of the Kreutzkamps who lived in Tularosa.
